General Electric put the whammy on us a little while ago and that’s probably the high point of the day.

I was having dinner with a client last night who happens to work for GE financial. I was telling him that I thought all of the bad news that could possibly be forthcoming was already priced into the market. My dinner companion said that he didn’t think so.

In fact, his take on things was far gloomier than mine. My guess is that he knew something that I didn’t.

The news on GE isn’t the end of the world – doggone close though. We’re still on OFFENSE, or in the Capital Appreciation, mode. Let’s see how the market reacts and we’ll go from there.

Keep your head down.
